One.com offers a 15-day money-back guarantee on new orders, giving customers a short window to test the service and decide whether it meets their expectations. However, the guarantee has some important conditions, particularly when domains and certain add-on services are involved.

Web Hosting and eligible services: If you purchase a new One.com service directly through its website, you can generally request a full refund within 15 days of placing the order. The guarantee covers eligible products and services, although some specific subscriptions are excluded.

Excluded services: The 15-day money-back guarantee does not apply to Google Ads, Exchange, and Microsoft 365 plans. These services have their own billing and cancellation conditions.

Domain registrations: The refund policy is more limited for domains. One.com states that the full refund applies to one domain, while hosting fees for additional domains can be refunded but their domain registration fees cannot, because the registrations are processed through domain partners and cannot be reversed.

How to request a refund: To use the money-back guarantee, you need to contact One.com support and provide the domain name, order number, and a clear statement that you want to use the money-back guarantee. Simply cancelling the subscription is not the same as requesting a refund.

Regular cancellation: If you are outside the 15-day refund period, cancelling your hosting subscription generally means the service continues until the end of the current subscription period. One.com recommends cancelling at least 30 days before the renewal date to prevent the subscription from renewing.

Changing your hosting plan: One.com allows customers to upgrade or downgrade their hosting plan through the Control Panel. Upgrades take effect immediately, and when moving to a more expensive plan, you are charged the price difference for the remaining months. Downgrades do not result in a refund of previous payments.

Important: If you use One.com’s separate termination process to immediately delete a domain and its web space, your files, emails, and databases can be deleted immediately, and One.com states that remaining subscription time is not refunded. Make sure you have a backup before using this option.
